This look's really good Andrey! Super excited, can't wait for this!

Appreciate the love @Dennis Huynh

Hi Andrey,
We are waiting for these too. When can we test these? This would ease our life quite a bit!

These are still in security review and I'm pushing on the team to get them cleared so everyone can easily import them via their Locator ID's. If they are not security reviewed by the end of the week, I can manually import these from the backend if necessary.

Nice work.
While I can't replace EVERYTHING that I have custom made for Rubrik monitoring, these will allow me to replace about half.

Half of what's left is custom stuff per Client, so can't do anything there. But there's additional stuff regarding AWS and Azure based Rubrik backups that can probably be added here

@aziacould definitely easily extend these modules out to capture additional metrics.

My test portals did not have AWS and Azure backups enabled, so maybe thats something you can put together when you get the time

Very Cool.

Can you please let us know if these are planned to be released as "Core" or will they remain "Community" ?

Thanks.

@Michael Dieter I've submitted the suite of modules to the Monitoring Engineering team work log. They have it on their radar. As soon as they visit it, it will begin its journey to become "CORE" with support & documentation.

Until then, it will remain as "COMMUNITY".

@Andrey Kitsen I'm unable to load the two PropertySources as they report "LogicModule belongs to another private repository". I was able to load the DataSources though. Thanks!

Hey @Mike Moniz just flipped the private repo flag.

Can you please try again and let me know if successful ?

Hi @Andrey Kitsen,

Would you consider creating a module for the report "Protection Tasks Details". That's what we currently use to monitor individual assets.

Hi @Andy Escolastico I've since moved onto other projects but I've submitted the work to our core repository team for them to look over the pull request and get these modules into core.

I'll leave a note there to have them look into the "Protection Tasks Details" report.

If you feel so inclined, you can probably work off of the existing reports based DataSources and figure it out yourself. Groovy isn't too difficult and the Rubrik API is fairly straight forward.

Thanks I might just do that. I'm very familiar with the Rubrik API but I always have to glue together groovy code. Havent had a good sit down with the language yet. But like you said you already have most of the code written so it shouldnt be very difficult.

I wish LM supported other linux compatible scripting languages like python or Powershell 6+.

If you look over the existing Groovy code, you can see that I pretty much templatized it all. You would only need to revisit the post processing of the returned data, which I don't see it being too different to the other existing reports DataSources.

I definitely love me some Python and wish I can write embedded Python code the same way we do Groovy. I've definitely become partial to Groovy over the 5yrs now at LogicMonitor, so I'm definitely an advocate for it when appropriate.

Thought these graphs looked cool. Will be dropping the module locator IDs sometime soon, just got to iron out a few more things.

@sawyer.lef you interested in these by chance ?
