  1. The Alert Frequency Report is ok but we would like to see alerts from last month compared to alerts from another time period. For example... We want to compare Alert Frequency for December with the Alert Frequency from November to see if they have gone up or down. This helps with problem management.
  2. We are getting a lot of this type of alert in the Windows System Event Logs and I want to put in a filter The device, \Device\Harddisk25\DR479, is not ready for access yet. This part 25\DR479 is different as it is created on the fly as part of the backups. Will this work - New Filter looking a Message / NotContain The device, \Device\Harddisk&&, is not ready for access yet.

    Windows Scheduled Tasks Monitoring

Is there a way to monitor Windows Scheduled Tasks to make sure they run correctly and to make sure they still exist.

    SNMP Trap Datasource

Ability to filter on the message context not just: enterpriseOid, generalCode, snmpVersion, specificCode, trapOid
  5. Hi Dose anyone know how to monitor and alert on the memory usage of a specific windows process??
  6. It would be good if there was a way to restore a group or device if deleted in error, maybe something like a recycle bin.
  7. We want this as well - being able to test internal sites e.g. login and make sure the site returns what is expected. Using Services to achieve this makes sense as the functionality exists.rnIt would be great if a collector could be used as the test point.
  8. We require client-side authentication as well.
  9. It would be good if you could filter on the notes field.
  10. LM monitors the Citrix Services can you add the these to a Citrix Performance datasource. These are some of the Citrix recommended PerfMon counters. \Citrix Licensing\License Server Connection Failure License information for XenApp is stored on a server with the Citrix Licensing software installed. XenApp checks out licenses from the Citrix License Server when users connect. XenApp provides, “grace period,†functionality to allow users to connect to XenApp for limited amounts of time when the XenApp server is unable to contact the Citrix License Server. All license files generated after August 19th, 2004 have a grace period of 30 days (720 hours) and license files generated before that have a grace period of 4 days (96 hours). This Counter measures the number of minutes that XenApp has been disconnected from the License Server. Reference: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX105103 >= 60 seconds - Error >= 24 hours - Critical \Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server\Data Store Connection Failure XenApp stores configuration information such as the list of published applications, Citrix administrators and farm settings in the data store database. This counter reports number of minutes that the server running Presentation Server was disconnected from the data store. While XenApp can continue to deliver applications to users while the database is down, limited changes can be made. \Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server\Number of busy XML threads The Citrix XML Service is used to login users as well as list and launch published applications. This counter measures the number of user requests currently being processed. There are 16 worker threads in the Citrix XML Service. A count of 16 or more shows that XML requests are not being processed in a timely manner. >= 10 - Error >= 16 - Critical \Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server\Resolution WorkItem Queue Ready Count The IMA service consists of multiple thread pools dedicated to specific tasks. This counter measures the number of pending requests that are handled by the thread pool responsible for XenApp application resolutions, where the least-loaded server is calculated when a user launches a new application. A value above 0 indicates that requests are being queued while IMA handles other requests. Reference: Improving Farm Performance and Resiliency with Hotfix Rollup Pack 3 http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX119922 > 0 - Critical \Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server\WorkItem Queue Ready Count The IMA service consists of multiple thread pools dedicated to specific tasks. This counter measures the number of pending requests that are handled by the thread pool that handles re-occurring XenApp tasks such as load updates. A value above 0 indicates that requests are being queued while IMA handles other requests. Dead Devices

Currently the devices TAB (Top of screen) shows dead devices even when you turn off all alerting for a device. In some cases we need to keep reporting data for 12 months for a that device however it shows as dead. Is there anyway to stop monitoring and alerting and keep the data so it\'s viewable and the devices does not show as dead? Thanks

    Dashboard Templates

We would like to be able to create a dashboard template and link that template to host groups. For any devices in that group a dashboard would be created. The template would need to by dynamic, for example we would like to report in all logical volumes space for all drives in separate graphs, so if on server has a C: drive and another has C: D: E: then server 1\'s would have one graph where server 2 would show all 3.
  14. It would be great if you could add the collector to be used at a group level. That way when adding a device to that group it would automatically know to use that collector and in the long term save time and it would also stop errors in selecting the wrong collector.
